Marcus Freeman stated he wouldn’t talk to his team about revenge this week because it wasn’t needed. 

He was right. 

Notre Dame took the loss to Louisville last fall personally, as there was plenty of trash talk during the game and even more after, which almost caused a scuffle at midfield. 

The Irish wanted to start fast, which somewhat happened.
