After the first five games of the season, there wasn’t a ton of faith in Notre Dame’s offense. They were set to face three below average defenses after their first bye week, but no one was certain they were going to be able to exploit the weaknesses of those defenses.

We can say they checked the boxes they needed to in this three game stretch, which was capped off by a 7.8 yards per play and 37 points (not including Jaylen Sneed’s fumble recovery for a touchdown) against Navy.
