Losing a player like Rylie Mills before a matchup with Georgia was less than ideal, but just like they have all season, this Notre Dame defense proved that the foundation wouldn’t be shaken after losing a key player.

Georgia was supposed to bully the Irish in the run game. That did not happen. Notre Dame was more physical, more prepared, and just flat out better than their opponents.

The block destruction from the entire unit was phenomenal. They missed only four tackles the entire game.
