It wasn’t pretty. No one said it was going to be a work of art against Georgia’s defense.

All it needed to be was better than their opponent and it was. Notre Dame had far less negative plays (zero turnovers to two, 8.2% havoc rate against compared to 27.9% against Georgia). They had a higher success rate (34% to 30%) and they ran the ball better.
