Notre Dame returned to a place of horrors and left with a gritty 27-24 win over Penn State in the 2025 Captial One Orange Bowl on Thursday night.

By no means was this the cleanest game of the year for Marcus Freeman’s program, yet it also defined the 2024 campaign as Notre Dame will play for a national title in 10 days.
