We’ve heard Marcus Freeman repeat again and again how much preparation matters when it comes to performing in games. No one would disagree that he’s right.

However, sometimes things happen in a game that you didn’t plan for. I’m sure losing Anthonie Knapp, Rocco Spindler, and Riley Leonard when they were already down 10-0 wasn’t part of Freeman’s master plan.
