Two years ago I introduced the concept of the “200 snap club”. It was based on the hit rate of players at Notre Dame who had played 200+ snaps in their second season on campus.

To put it in the simplest terms, those players who hit that threshold have typically developed into great players at Notre Dame. Here’s what I wrote back then:

From 2017-2020, Notre Dame had 27 players in their second season who played 200 or more snaps.
