Thoughts on Mike Martin

Everyone was patiently waiting to see what direction Marcus Freeman would go with Notre Dame’s general manager position once Chad Bowden left. For a minute it looked like it was going to be Texas Tech’s James Blanchard stepping into the role.

That move would have been like bringing in a 2.0 version of Bowden. The hire that Freeman is making instead is different and I think exactly what Notre Dame needs.
