Blue-Gold Game Film Review: Defense

Mike Elko's defense at Wake Forest produced 41 sacks, 94 tackles for loss, and 27 takeaways last season. More than anything else, those numbers are the main reason why he is the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame right now. His defense did what Brian Kelly always wanted Brian VanGorder's defenses to do. And Elko did it with players that aren't nearly as highly touted as the ones playing on the Irish defense.
