Mike Denbrock’s first offense at LSU finished 10th in OF+. They had all of the pieces in place to be even better in year two and they were. Led by Heisman trophy winner Jayden Daniels, LSU finished second in OF+ (combined FEI and SP+ ranking) and had a championship-worthy offense. (That defense, though…they were 79th in DF+)
Even the most optimistic Notre Dame fans wouldn’t have predicted Notre Dame’s offense to be as good as they were last season.
