Things are different this year with Notre Dame’s spring ball. Different doesn’t always equate to good, but it is in this instance.

Notre Dame played 16 games this past season. That’s not just four additional game weeks to the regular season. That’s three extra weeks of travel. It’s a lot more practice than just four weeks worth because there was often more than a week in between games. It’s also three extra games than they’ve ever played in a season.
