Jourdan Blake Expected to Be Named Notre Dame Director of Player Personnel
According to a source, Notre Dame has named Jourdan Blake its next Director of Player Personnel.
ON3’s Mike Singer was the first to report the news.
Blake comes to South Bend from Colorado, where he served as the Associate Director of Player Personnel and High School Relations since 2023. While working for the Buffs, Blake led and managed Colorado’s high school and transfer scouting.
In addition to his time in Boulder, the Texas native will bring an extensive recruiting background to Notre Dame.
Blake was the Director of Recruiting Operations (2022-2023) at SMU, TCU’s Recruiting Coordinator (2022) and SMU’s Recruiting Coordinator (2019-2021).
As a player Blake played cornerback at Baylor and ended his career at SMU in 2018. Blake holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Baylor and a master’s degree from SMU in sports management and administration.
Blake will work with general manager Mike Martin and Director of Recruiting Carter Auman at Notre Dame.
We also expect the Irish program to make a few more hires to bolsters the recruiting department in the coming days.
