Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa Named Notre Dame Director of Recruiting Advancement
Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa is coming home.
The former Fighting Irish defensive lineman will join the Notre Dame football staff as the Director of Recruiting Advancement after spending the last nine months in Baton Rouge working at LSU as a graduate assistant. While in Baton Rouge, Tagovailoa-Amosa was able to work on his master’s degree in leadership and human resource development.
"Myron will be a great asset to the Notre Dame program,” a staff at LSU told ISD. “I know the opportunity for him to go back home was very intriguing for him. He will continue to grow and his excitement for being home is unmatched.”
Tagovailoa-Amosa played for Notre Dame for five seasons and then spent a year with the Las Vegas Raiders before stepping away from the game.
During his time at Notre Dame, Tagovailoa-Amosa totaled 75 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and five sacks.
The Ewa Beach (Hawaii) native was also named a captain in 2021 and led the Irish to a record of 11-2 and an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl, where he recorded a career-high five tackles.
