Irish Continue Showing Interest In Dowell

Notre Dame hasn’t extended an offer to Michael Dowell at this point, but there’s no doubt the Irish’s interest in the 2018 Ohio safety is serious.

They hosted him for a campus visit late last month while defensive coordinator Mike Elko and recruiting coordinator Mike Elston made the trip to St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio on Wednesday to check in on Dowell.

“I’m supposed to give them a call (Thursday),” the 6-foot, 195-pounder told Irish Sports Daily.
