David Gabriel Georges saw his offer sheet grow by one a couple weeks ago, when the 2027 Tennessee running back added an offer from Notre Dame.
“I spoke with running backs coach (Ja’Juan) Seider,” the 6-foot, 200-pounder told Irish Sports Daily.
“He offered me over the phone. We had a nice conversation.”
Gabriel Georges, who is from Canada, also has offers from schools like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Texas, USC, Oregon and Stanford among several others.
Still, the Baylor School standout was fired up about adding the Irish.
“I was very happy, excited for sure,” he said. “This is Notre Dame!
“Notre Dame is a top program in the country who just made an appearance in the national championship. Home of some great players, past and present.”
Gabriel Georges was also impressed with his conversation with Seider.
“Coach Seider and I had a good interaction,” he said. “He made a good impression. He eems like a good guy and great coach.”
The Irish are surely hoping to get him to South Bend at some point, but Gabriel Georges doesn’t have anything locked in at this point.
“No visit for Notre Dame planned yet, but who knows maybe in the future,” he said.
“I'd like to learn more about the football program, their scheme etc.”
He visited Syracuse and Tennessee this month and is looking at trips to Georgia, Ohio State, USC and Oregon next month.
