It’s safe to say Amir Brown’s trip to Notre Dame last week made quite the impact.

The 2027 North Carolina running back left with the Irish as his clear leader.

“They're leading right now,” the 5-foot-11, 205-pounder said.

Brown’s offer sheet currently includes schools like Ohio State, Penn State, North Carolina, Florida State, Texas A&M, Duke and Stanford among several others.

His time in South Bend made a strong impression on the Rolesville High School star.

“It was great,” he told Irish Sports Daily. “I loved the experience being up there. The people, the coaches, the culture and everything.”

Brown received a campus tour and said he enjoyed “seeing new things for the first time.”

“I love the campus,” he added. “It's somewhere I see myself being.”

One of the other highlights of the trip was watching the Irish practice.

“The brotherhood, how they work and how they like to work and get after it,” Brown said of what stuck out about Notre Dame’s practice session.

He spent a lot of time with new Irish running backs coach Ja’Juan Seider, who encouraged Brown to continue working.

“He likes my toughness, my short-term burst, and just everything about me,” Brown said.

And Brown is a big fan of Seider’s.

“He's a great dude,” said Brown. “He's great outside of football. Great coach, but outside of football, he's still a great person. I like how he is as a person.”

Brown is planning trips to Duke, Texas and Penn State next, but already has plans to return to South Bend.

“I know I'm going for the Texas A&M game. It might even be before that, so probably try to get down for another spring visit or summer if I can.”
