Defensive lineman Jarron Jones might have had a long 2017 NFL Draft, but it didn't take long for the New York Giants to sign him as an undrafted free agent (pending physical).

The 6-foot-6, 316-pounder recorded 108 tackles, 19.0 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in his career with the Irish. Jones also recorded six blocked kicks.

Coming out of high school, the Rochester (N.Y.) native was a four-star prospect, but some schools saw him as a left tackle and others saw him on the defensive line. Jones committed to Penn State before flipping to Notre Dame.

Jones battled through injuries at Notre Dame after being redshirted his freshman year. He suffered a LisFranc injury at the end of the 2014 season and then tore his MCL in 2015 during fall camp.

As a fifth-year senior, Jones had his best year in the blue and gold with 48 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, and two forced fumbles. However, the game that sticks out was the 2016 Miami game. Jones recorded six tackles for loss and was unblockable.

Some still feel Jones may end on the offensive line in the NFL, as he 35 ½ inch arms with his 6-foot-6 frame.
