2027 WR Quentin Burrell High On Notre Dame
Mike Brown made his way up to Chicago when he hit the road for the first time this week and one key stop was at Mount Carmel to check in on 2027 receiver Quentin Burrell.
“He was just coming up looking at me after the visit I took,” said Burrell, who made the trip down to South Bend earlier this spring.
“Just checking up, showing some love, looking at some of my teammates too.”
The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder enjoyed his recent visit to South Bend.
“I like Notre Dame a lot,” said Burrell. “I would say it was very well put together and I got a very nice view, especially the campus and where it's located.”
Burrell was also grateful the Irish came to check back with him so quickly.
“It felt good,” he acknowledged. “I was glad that they got to come and see me and show love. I appreciate that a lot. It means a lot.”
Burrell’s offer sheet currently includes schools like Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss among several others.
He plans on continuing the process with the Irish in meaningful ways.
“Just getting back up there, building a relationship with the coach, talking to Coach (Marcus) Freeman more, seeing how they operate on a deeper level and finding out if that's where I could call that place home,” he said.
Burrell is even eyeing a potential return date in early June.
He only has his sights set on one other visit right now.
“I might be trying to go up to Ohio State, but that's probably it,” he said.
He made earlier trips this spring to Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Missouri and Louisville.
It’s early, but Burrell has already identified a couple factors that will be crucial to his final decision.
“The relationship that I have with the coaches and if I can stay there for a full four years, maybe five if that's needed.”
