Notre Dame and Wisconsin to Meet in Shamrock Series Game at Lambeau
The Shamrock Series will return in 2026 as Notre Dame announced it will host Wisconsin at Lambeau Field on September 6th, 2026.
It took six years to get the game set after the original game between the two programs was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers, has only hosted two collegiate games in its history, so the Irish are in rare air. St. Norbert played Fordham in 1983 and Wisconsin beat LSU 16-14 in 2016.
Notre Dame boasts a perfect 12-0 record in Shamrock Series games, including a thrilling 41-13 win over Wisconsin at Soldier Field in 2021. The Irish scored 31 points in the fourth quarter to turn a close game into a blowout, with Cam Hart and Drew White recording pick-sixes with under three minutes to play.
