It seemed fitting that Boise State would be the first Group of 5 representative in the newly expanded College Football Playoff. They have had the reputation of giant killers since they knocked off Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl back in 2007 and have been a small school juggernaut for the past ¼ century.

Starting in 1999, they’ve won 10 or more games in 19 of 25 seasons. Head coach Spencer Danielson has them rolling in the same direction.
