Dave Doeren is about to enter his 13th season at NC State. It’s an accomplishment for anyone to last that long at any program and he’s only finished with a losing record in three of them. One of them was last year when the Wolfpack went 6-7.

In the dozen years with him as the leader of the program, they have never been able to get over the hump. Doeren’s teams have won nine games four times, but never more than that.
