Earlier this month, Bubba Frazier‍ returned to South Bend for the first time since committing to Notre Dame back in April.

The 2026 Georgia receiver was back for an official visit and once again enjoyed himself.

“It went good,” Frazier told Irish Sports Daily. “It went amazing.

“I got to explore more of the campus, got to spend more time with the coaches, see how things were with that. And honestly, I'd say my favorite part was, number one, spending time with the coaches and number two was the photo shoot.”

Getting to know the players from a personal standpoint was important to the Benedictine Military School standout.

“It was a great time even going to Coach (Marcus) Freeman’s house, playing basketball with Coach (Mike) Brown and Carter (Auman) and Dom (Spalding), some of the other recruit staffers. It was good. Just spending time eating lunch, breakfast and dinner with them, it was a great time.”

Frazier’s impressions of the people within the program are overly positive.

“Great, genuine people who actually care for you, not just about football,” he said. “You can actually come talk to them about things outside of football, so that's how the relationship with them is.

“It's important because it kind of makes you feel like family. You get more comfortable. It's not too hard to get used to it and fit in. They actually welcome you.”

Frazier is also fired up to see the Irish recruiting class growing in both quality and quantity.

“It's big because Notre Dame is going be something great the next few years,” he said.

“We ready to take over.”

Frazier and his classmates still have their targets on receivers like Kaydon Finley, Devin Fitzgerad and Brayden Robinson.

“Yessir,” he said. “We're doing our thing trying to get them to come here. I’ve got a great feeling that they're going to come.”

Frazier is employing simplicity as his pitch.

“It's just the place to be,” he said.

“There's really not much that I could say. They really got to experience it on the official visit, so that should just tell them it all.”
