Stanford has had their fair share of dark times as football program (remember the Buddy Teevens era?), but this stretch has been as bad as any they’ve had in the last 100 years.

They’ve won a total of 20 games in the last six seasons. The only Power 4 team with less wins during that time is Vanderbilt, but at least Vandy showed some signs of life by winning seven games last season.

Stanford has had four straight 3-9 finishes, the last two under Troy Taylor.
