Camp used to be about breaking players down through grueling days of multiple practices and nights filled with long meetings followed by sleeping in rooms with no air conditioning. I’m not quite sure what the point was of all of that, but anyone who claims it built toughness must not have told all the losing teams who were doing those things as well.

Camp is different now. The two-a-days are done, but it’s more than just that.
