Boomer Talks Big ND Offer

Grayson Boomer already had a pretty impressive offer sheet, but the 2019 Oklahoma tight end was still surprised to pick up an offer from Notre Dame last month.

“I was shocked,” the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder from Collinsville said. “I talked with Coach (Chip) Long and he said, ‘We want you here. We’ve had a lot of success at the tight end position and we want you to be a part of the Irish.’”

Boomer is well-versed in Notre Dame’s history at the position.
