In my sophomore year at Idaho State, I played with a cornerback who had played previously at City College of San Francisco. They were a junior college powerhouse at that time. He won back to back national championships there. They went on to win two more of the next three after he was gone too.

He was 21 years old, so not exactly someone who would be referred to as “Unc” today.
