Notre Dame's Defense Capable of Exceeding Already High Standard

Notre Dame’s defense has been the backbone of the program over the last eight years. Over that time they have won 87 games. The only programs who have won more since 2017 are Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, and Clemson.

The last two years they've been rated seventh and third in DF+ (combined FEI and SP+).
