Notre Dame defensive coordinator Chris Ash spoke following Wednesday's practice. 

On the new rule against pre-snap exaggerated movement by defensive players: 
”It’s like any rule. We try to coach within the rules, we try to educate the guys on what the officials are looking for and we try to practice it and do it consistently. There’s a lot of rules that come up and they change each year and there’s different focus by the officials each year.
