Watching this game again from the perspective of the Notre Dame defense was frustrating to say the least. There was more good than one might think at first glance, but ultimately not enough of it to play to the standard that has been set with the program over the previous two years.
If coming into the game you said that Miami was going to average 4.7 yards per play, have zero explosives in the ground game, convert only 35.7% of their 3rd down attempts, and Carson Beck would average only 6.
