There are bad losses and then there are steps backward for a program.
Saturday night was a step backward for Marcus Freeman’s Irish as they let a losing program walk into Notre Dame Stadium and win.
What do I mean by a losing program? Texas A&M hadn’t won a non-conference road game against a ranked opponent since 1979. The Aggies have had just two double-digit win seasons since 1998.
