It made sense that most of the questions at Marcus Freeman’s press conference yesterday centered on the defense. As I wrote in my rewatch notes, the performance on defense was unrecognizable from what Notre Dame fans have become accustomed to. Freeman was firm that the execution is the biggest issue.
