Fans were hoping that the Texas A&M game for the Notre Dame offense was a breakout. Judging by the follow up against Purdue, we can say it was.

The Irish came out of the gates with a bomb from CJ Carr to Malachi Fields and didn’t slow down one bit from there. Before the lightning delay, the offense had a ridiculous 69% success rate. The two hour break didn’t impact them at all as they flipped a close game into a blowout with three touchdowns on the next three drives.
