Believe it or not, there was some good from Notre Dame’s defense against Purdue. Unfortunately it’s completely overshadowed by the fact that the pass defense remains a serious problem.

Purdue gained 75-yards on six plays in only 53 seconds without using a timeout. The fact that it wasn’t shocking says everything anyone needs to know about the artist previously known as Notre Dame’s elite pass defense.
