No one can erase those first three games from this season for Chris Ash and Notre Dame’s defense. 130th in EPA (expected points added) per dropback is reflective of how bad it looked.
It really doesn’t matter who the opponents were. The results were gross.
The results the last couple of weeks looked a lot more familiar to what we had seen last season with the pass defense. Zero touchdowns. Five interceptions. -0.
