Anything can happen in a rivalry game. Almost everything did happen in this one.
Lightning delayed the warmups, but not the game. Rain was a constant and it did have an impact. Notre Dame was the team more built to play in these conditions, though. It showed in how much they dominated on the ground and stuffed USC’s rushing attack.
