Notre Dame has bragging rights over USC for the foreseeable future as the Fighting Irish held off the Trojans for a 34-24 win on Saturday.
Marcus Freeman knows how to beat USC and that’s by winning in the trenches and forcing turnovers. In other words, Freeman wants to slowly take away USC’s will to play football.
The Fighting Irish did just that as Notre Dame rolled up 306 yards on the ground and forced three USC turnovers on the night.
