Notre Dame football sits at 5-2 entering the final bye week of the season. Is it a surprise that Marcus Freeman’s program holds two losses at this point in the year? 

Yes and no. 

The first two games were always tricky on paper and Notre Dame could very well be sitting 7-0 as they lost to Miami and Texas A&M by a combined four points.
