Notre Dame has landed its third commitment in the 2026 recruiting class, and it’s a familiar name.
St. Joseph (Ind.) shooting guard Nick Shrewsberry has given his pledge to the Fighting Irish and will play for his father, Micah Shrewsberry.
As a junior at St. Joe, the 6-foot-5 guard averaged 13.9 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 1.8 apg. Shrewsberry tallied eight games of 20 points or more and shot 78-of-215 from three-point range.
The Huskies went 27-3 and won a State Title. Shrewsberry finished third on the team in scoring, field goal percentage, rebounds and assists per game, while leading St. Joe in three-point percentage at 36 percent.
Shrewsberry will join a class of point guard Jonathan Sanderson and big man Gan-Erdene Solongo. Sanderson and Solongo are the sons of Notre Dame strength and conditioning coach Jon Sanderson.
