It was a big deal that Navy QB Blake Horvath didn’t play in this game. He’s an explosive athlete who had runs of 47 and 60 yards against Notre Dame last season.

Then again, Horvath could have been a turnover machine like he was last season against the Irish. He came into this game having thrown five interceptions and his nine fumbles were tied for the most in the country. He might have been a disaster in that weather.
