Analyzing Notre Dame's Path To The College Football Playoff

As expected, Notre Dame moved up one spot in the second edition of the College Football Playoff rankings, going from #10 to #9, moving ahead of BYU, who was ranked #7 last week before losing to Texas Tech. 

The Top 5 - Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia - remained the same with Texas Tech leapfrogging Ole Miss and BYU to move up to #6. 

Ole Miss slid back one spot from #6 to #7 while Oregon moved up one spot - like the Irish, ahead of BYU - from #9 to #8.
