Fran Brown had a fantastic debut season at Syracuse. He provided an instant spark to the program and they went 10-3 in 2024.

He was 13-4 after a 3-1 start this season as well and that included an upset win at Clemson. That was also the game where Notre Dame transfer Steve Angeli suffered a season-ending injury. It’s more than not just having their starting quarterback, but it’s the biggest reason why Syracuse has lost six straight games by an average of 22.5 points per game.
