Notre Dame needed Alabama and BYU to show just that on Saturday to get into the College Football Playoff. Well, it happened.
BYU, a good team, lacks the playmakers and speed to compete with the nation’s top programs, and it showed on Saturday as Texas Tech rolled them 34-7.
Since October 25th, Alabama has won close games against South Carolina, LSU, and Auburn, while losing at home to Oklahoma.
