College football never lacks for drama. 

This week, Notre Dame was front and center for more than 48 hours after being left out of the College Football Playoff. Pete Bevacqua did his media tour to make his disappointment in the playoff committee and ACC known. 

One would figure the discussion around Notre Dame would die, but then it came out that there was a future MOU that said the Fighting Irish would be included in the playoff if ranked in the top 12 moving forward.
