However you want to describe it, Notre Dame was unfairly kept out of the college playoffs due to a national media campaign, led by ESPN, and a gutless committee that caved to the pressure of outside influence. We’ll get into the “why’s” here in a bit, but let’s first take a look at how we got to this point.
