Notre Dame receiver KK Smith has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal as an undergraduate transfer.
The 6-foot, 177-pounder put together his most productive season with the Fighting Irish in 2025, recording eight receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Smith’s best performance came against NC State, where he hauled in three catches for 59 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown from quarterback CJ Carr.
Smith missed the end of the 2024 season due to a clavicle injury but appeared earlier in the year, totaling three receptions for 38 yards.
As a freshman, the Texas native did not see game action while rehabbing from shoulder surgery.
In total, Smith played in 17 games for the Irish with career totals of 11 receptions for 161 yards and two scores.
Notre Dame is set to host Iowa State graduate transfer Xavier Townsen this week, who could potentially fill a role in the slot and provide depth at the field position.
