Notre Dame is positioned differently as a program than just about every other one this January.
They have retained a lot of talent who were significant contributors to their success the last two seasons and because of that they don’t have the same numbers of needs as the others they are competing with.
They have to replace their top two backs, two of their top three receivers, a starting tight end, and two starting offensive lineman on offense.
