Notre Dame and Marty Biagi have landed a kicker in a Houdini fashion.
Purdue kicker Spencer Porath has signed with the Irish and he never entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The Brownsburg (Ind.) native made 15-of-17 field goals in 2025 and all 24 extra points as a sophomore in 2025. 88.2% is the best single season field goal percentage in history of Purdue football. Porath had a long of 53 yards and was 4-of-5 from 40-49 yards and 2-of-3 from 50+.
In 2024, Porath went 7-of-11 on field goals and 17-of-17 on extra points. As a recruit Porath was selected to the US Army All-American Bowl and was named Mr. Football in Indiana at the kicker position.
Porath will immediately compete for the starting kicker job with sophomore Erik Schmidt.
He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
