Notre Dame didn’t make the College Football Playoffs and the Indiana Hoosiers are reigning National Champions, a sentence no one ever expected to read, let alone write.
First, give Curt Cignetti all the credit in the world. He found a way to win with average talent, which might be the most impressive part of Indiana’s story. The Hoosiers weren’t loaded with elite transfers or blue-chip depth.
