RECRUITMENT RUNDOWN
It was a pretty cut-and-dry recruitment for Jarrard. Notre Dame quarterback coach Gino Guidugli was very thorough in offering 2027 quarterbacks, and Jarrard was one of two signal callers offered. The Georgia native was offered on June 21 and then pledged to the Irish on July 24.

Jarrard never backed off his commitment to Notre Dame despite teams continuing to recruit him throughout the fall. The move to the 2026 class happened in early December following the Early Signing Period.

ISD EXPERT JAMIE UYEYAMA
Jarrard is an advanced prospect in a lot of ways, but I still feel he’s nowhere close to reaching his potential on the field. His athleticism and the speed at which he processes things from the pocket make me believe he could compete early in his career with an opportunity to become a multi-year starter. In many ways, he reminds me of former Notre Dame quarterback Steve Angeli, but a better athlete and better at avoiding the rush.

I think the player he has the potential to become the most similar to at Notre Dame, based on his skill set, is the best version of Miami quarterback Carson Beck. He was ranked in the top-10 in QBR in 2023 and his adjusted completion percentage was 80.6% that season.

FAVORITE ISD QUOTE
“I think Notre Dame has a lot to offer and I think the quarterback position development-wise, it's key and it's an important thing for me. I think Coach Freeman's building something great up there.”
