Notre Dame basketball was once a proud program. 

In 2026, head coach Micah Shrewsberry routinely says he needs to find a way to change practice. That alone speaks volumes about where things stand nearly three full seasons into his tenure.

24 games into year three, this is a program searching for answers and not finding many.

The Irish sit in last place in the ACC and are in serious danger of missing the conference tournament in March.
